The Plight of Roverandom

I had to do some Tolkien-themed cards to go with my book and I wanted to illustrate his lesser-known works rather than classics. So I decided to do a Roverandom related piece and re-did the picture I did three years ago -



I think the new one is better but I guess I kind of like both.

Wow, that also means I spent nearly three semesters total illustrating Tolkien and I haven't drawn a single hobbit, elf or orc.
