Sketchbooks Summer 2016

I used to upload this sort of stuff to scraps buuut I don't do it too often, and it's not like DA even tries to look like a proper art site any more so to the main gallery this goes (and I'll probably do the same when Inktober comes, I post photos of stuff I work with during Inktober).

Anyway, IT’S NERDY ART SUPPLY TALK TIME My sketchbooks and notebooks this summer!

• big blue spiral sketchbooks for comics (actually, there's more than one of them depending on if I'm drawing any short comics or not, right now it's all about that bloke jumping under buses)
  

• A4 Derwent sketchbook for larger pictures

• orange spiral sketchbook for doodles - it’s the one I grab if I’m going outside and might draw there (it has orange and black paper so a bit tricky but fun)

• notebook with bunnies is my current fauxbonichi, really chunky, almost full, lasted entire summer
  

• spiral Tube map notebook is for comic scripts (I’m a dinosaur and avoid typing up my scripts until the last moment, last moment comes is when the page is scanned and in Photoshop)

• blue notebook with a Minion is for thumbnails and just comic preparation (like there’s a page with quick sketches of random junk in this room)

• white Lorax notebook is the one I carry with me everywhere just in case because you gotta do it (it’s already full but at the rate I go through this stuff I’ll probably be making one post like this every season).
  

There’s no such thing as “too many pencil cases”, especially if they involve London or Angry Birds! …can it be both? “Angry Brits”?

And I'll be back with some proper update next time (either a page or doodles)!
