Pressing Questions 2

Finishing something feels nice. And I'm a bit out of habit of doing so many rewrites in such a short time, so it goes from fun to kind of stressful, so be prepared to see random doodles from me more. They also help me stay in shape and ponder on arcs and so on. Anyway, more answers to your questions! You can still ask more here and if you happen to have a question of your own that's not on the list, those are fair game too.

At this point it looks like I'll do another batch or two of these, and this time the questions are from achattystoryteller and ExplosiveCoffee - who should both do this too sometime!


 Some background information:
Nutter has a low opinion of everyone, but unlike many people he includes himself in that number. I did a couple of pictures loosely themed around Nutter and alcohol abuse in 2013 and I'm proud to say they are getting spookier. I don't INTENTIONALLY make them spooky, I just fiddle with pencils until I can't go on.

I decided to shorten Laurence to Laurie not Larry from now on. It has nothing to do with me watching No Offence and their Laurie, I just think "Laurie" sounds more British. Put it this way, a used car salesman called Larry WILL sell you a Morris Marina, and a used car salesman called Laurie will get his own hand jammed in the door. I also think "Total Policing" sounds more like a cartoon show motto (Gotta Catch 'Em All!) than a real police motto and keep expecting the Met to don cargo trousers and train naked mole rats to sniff out drugs. CALL ME BEEP ME

Jarvis and Philip are both results of similar therapy - it just works on some people but not on others. I'll put it this way, it's easier to believe you're "special" when you don't have all your previous life experience pointing you in the other direction. Teague doesn't have as much negative experience as Philip, he's just being a berk.

Sometimes I think Gavin's life is really ironic - to move from Manchester to EDMONTON OF ALL PLACES. I guess his worst fear would be a nun trying to shank him while calling him a nancy. Hey, it's Edmonton, shit happens?

And Wynne is one of those people who are genuinely happy being helpful, rather than happy to have the reputation of do-gooders. If she didn't join the force she'd sooner or later end up working with vulnerable people anyway. I'd like to be more like her, but I have a snarky brain. Maybe I'll work it out someday.

I got a new tin of pencils (they are called MAGIC PENCILS) so I went a little crazy there.
